How to teach this lesson about Some and Any

This lesson goes over:

  • the use of some in positive sentences and any in negative sentences
  • how to use any in questions
  • how to use some in offers and requests

Students will have plenty of opportunities to practice through fill-in-the-blanks questions, matching exercises, and by creating their own sentences.

Before you teach, keep in mind: you can use some and any with plural countable nouns and uncountable nouns, but not with singular countable nouns (a/an). You can access more helpful teacher notes like this for free by signing up for a free Off2Class account.
