Insights & Alignment
The Off2Class District Advisory Council brings together experienced leaders from diverse districts across the country. These education experts help ensure our publishing roadmap and development priorities align with the real needs of English learners and their teachers.
Meeting quarterly, council members provide invaluable insights on:
- Curriculum development priorities
- New feature requirements
- Implementation strategies
- Alignment opportunities
- Cross-district collaboration


A National Perspective
Our council members represent various frameworks, regions, and student populations, bringing diverse expertise in:
- Student populations (newcomers, SLIFE, LTELs)
- Educator needs (core instruction, EL specialists, para-professionals, volunteers, tutor)
- Implementation models (RTI, MTSS, push-in, push-out, virtual & hybrid)
- Adult & parent perspectives to leverage the home to school connection

Rita Gimenez
ESOL Support Specialist
Fulton County Schools, GA
Rita Gimenez has taught all grade levels from kindergarten to college (mostly high school ESOL with some general education Spanish and English sprinkled in). She also has experience with ESOL endorsement teaching and coordination, teaching pre-service and in-service teacher education courses, and adult ESL education volunteer work. She is committed to fostering the best possible learning environments, relationships, and instruction to support English Learners and their teachers. Outside of professional endeavors, Dr. Gimenez enjoys spending time at the beach and with her family and their sports and activities.

Ashleigh Nunley
Multilingual Learner Program Coordinator
Richland School District Two, SC
Ashleigh has worked in education for 23 years, 16 of which have been focused on multilingual learners. She has always been drawn to students who need extra supports, and loves to be there when the a-ha moments come for them. Outside of school, she enjoys being with her family and cooking.

Shanna Snow
District Program Facilitator, Secondary ESL
Katy ISD, TX
As a Houston native, Shanna returned in 2015 to contribute to her community. With two decades of experience in mental and behavioral health, Title I schools, and emergent bilingual populations, her passion lies in providing equal educational opportunities. She excels in Humanities education, supporting teacher growth and student achievement through evidence-based instruction. Her roles have included Instructional Coach, Department Chair, and Professional Development Instructor. She holds a BA in History, an MS in Education, and multiple Texas certifications. She is currently pursuing Principal Certification at Lamar University. Outside of work, she enjoys animal rescue, interior design, the outdoors, and cooking.
