How to teach the Somebody, Something lesson

Before we begin, remember:

  • We use some in positive sentences (e.g., I usually eat some bread with pasta)
  • We use some for offers and requests (e.g., Would you like some tea?)

This lesson goes over:

  • how to use somebody, someone, something, and somewhere
  • how to use anywhere and nowhere
  • how to form sentences with something/anything + adjective/infinitive (e.g., something new, something to drink)

Students will have plenty of opportunities to practice through fill-in-the-blank questions and create their own sentences.
